Fosters Gargage is the best auto shop I've dealt with. They are always friendly and honest. And if they can't fix something or don't find the problem, they don't charge you.

I had Foster's fix a bad wheel bearing on my '93 Ford Crown Vic. I had basically identified the problem myself but I took it in because I didn't have the tools for the job. The shop quoted me a fair price and had the car ready later that day. A quality operation, I would definitely do business with them again.

Over the last eight years, Foster's has worked on our Montero, my parent's Montana, an old Camry ('94), and our old ('88) Civic. They've always been very reasonable. Once, they couldn't trace the problem with our Camry's brakes even though they tried replacing several parts over the course of three days. I appreciated their honesty, but found an awesome Toyota mechanic in Little Rock as a result. Another time, a belt broke on our Civic, and they were going to hand push it into their garage. The car got away from them and rolled into another car on their premises--after eighteen years the first wreck for my first car! It was sort of comical, but they made everything right. I like Foster's.

These guys are the best if you're looking for honesty and a fair price. And who isn't? They've worked on my 14-year-old car several times over the years and have always done an excellent job. They're quick, they're straight arrows and they never patronize their customers. I'm a woman and it's been great to deal with mechanics who don't talk down to me or treat me like I'm an idiot as has been the case with other auto shops in town. Just a word of advice: They're always busy so get your car in early (7 a.m.). Also, you may have to call a couple of times to get someone on the phone, but it's worth it.
