I have never found a garage I like as well as Foster's. Mr. Foster takes pride in his work, and the work of his guys. I would recommed his garage to anyone.

When I moved to Little Rock and went to several terrible
garage's, I came to this website looking for help. I read
the comments about Foster's and went there the next day.
Now I would never willingly go elsewhere. Foster's
reasonably priced, efficient and competent. They turly
care about their customers.

The air conditioning went out on our car this summer and we
took it to Foster's based on the recommendations posted on
this web site. They found the system to be low on
refrigerant and checked for leaks. They recharged the
system, but said no leaks were detected. The price for
this was quite reasonable, but only a few hours after
picking the car up the a/c was out again. We took the car
back and they looked at it again, this time finding a small
leak in one of the hoses. They replaced the hose and
recharged the system and it's been working great ever
since. They were honest in their dealings, reasonable on
their prices, and apologetic about the initial diagnostic
oversight. I wish they would've discovered the leak the
first time, but overall I can recommend Foster's as a
reputable establishment. We'll probably use them again.

If I left Gary Foster's shop and realized I had left my
wallet on the seat, I wouldn't worry a bit. That's how
honest they are. I moved here two years ago, and when I
asked aloud in my office about a repair shop, the answer was
practically a chorus of co-workers: Foster's.
They have kept my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee running. I'm a
car idiot. Several times I've taken my Jeep in thinking the
problem was one thing. They could have said, "yeah buddy.
that's it." and charged me a big fee. But they don't. We
had relatives in town over Christmas and convinced them to
stay an extra day so they could let Foster's have a go at
their car.
My wife and I were at the point where we assumed the shop
always was ripping us off. Now we don't worry about that.
(Gary Foster recently did a minor repair on my wife's 2001
Camry.) It's a good feeling to leave a shop with the
confidence your car has been repaired and the price was fair.
My one complaint; If you don't have your car there by 7
a.m., you'll have to try again the next day. But that's a
mighty small inconvenience in exchange for the privelige of
dealing with a top-notch shop.

I have used Foster's exclusively since l988 when I moved
to Little Rock from Washington, D.C. They are friendly,
competent, and completely honest. Foster's has more
business than they can handle, but handle it they do. I
will give you once anecdote on their honesty. They
recommended flushing the radiator to fix a tendency to
overheat. The next day l40 miles west of Little Rock, the
car overheated suddenly and without warning, necessitating
a new transmission and radiator overhaul. Fortunately, I
had a lifetime warranty on the transmission so the
overhaul cost only $25. However, I had to stay overnight
and have the radiator done the next day. I told R.M. when
I got back and he insisted on paying my expenses and
refunding the amount I'd paid for the radiator flushing.
I had never had a mechanic over a refund before for a
faulty diagnosis and was mightily impressed. R.M.'s son
Gary now runs the business and carries on as always.

Fosters has worked on our cars for about 10 years. These
include Chevrolet van, Lexus, Cadillac, Avalon, Accord, Volvo.
Fosters has saved us thousands of dollars over the years.
The first time I dealt with them, the repairs on my 93 Lexus
were less than half the previous estimate.

Gary Foster and his crew worked on my '97 Jeep Cherokee
several times and they always did good work for a reasonable
price. He recommended against performing unnecessary work
several times, even though it would have been easy money for
him. They are always busy, so you have to bring your car in
when they open if you want to get it back the same day.
