I like the small town atmosphere because, as a regular
customer, I am treated more like a friend of the family
(it's a family owned and operated business)and they
remember my name and call me by name when I call for an
appointment or come in. If I have an emergency, they try
to work me in as soon as possible, too. I can have my
favorite technician work on my car every time, if he is
available, so he knows my car very well. Charlie worked
for the previous owner for many years and, when he died,
Charlie bought the business from his widow. Charlie and
Gina, his wife, have raised their children and expanded
the business over the years by opening the Tire Center and
more than doubling their bay space, too. My family has
used their services for over 35 years now--as long as we
have been living here. We always recommend them to
others, if asked.

Leaving Arkansas was easy; leaving Ivey's was harder. As a single woman who is dumb about cars, I depended on them and they always helped out. P.J. would patiently reattach the shields under my Honda when I would scrape them off on the rocky roads and would wrap individual wires (rather than replace everything)on my Ford when the critters built nests in the engine compartment. Charles and Gina Ivey have a true family business, and they saved me a lot of money during my seven years in Arkansas.
