My entire family has been taking our cars to Jim for years now and he has never let us down. My current vehicle has over 150,000 miles on it, so there is always a little something going wrong (or going out, or making noise, or falling off). Jim is a master at finding quality used parts, keeping costs down and, in general, "making it go again." My AC went out and the Ford dealership said that it would be over $700 to fix. I took it to Jim and he fixed it for around $50. I'm not sure what he did, but that was about 2 years ago and the AC is still working great. I have lived about 3 hours out of Fayetteville for 7 years now but I continue to only take my car to Jim. It's worth the drive.

Jim's a great mechanic, very fair prices and honest to the
core. A genuine good guy. But he doesn't like cucumbers so
take him something else as a thank you.

After being charged $700 for an AC compressor to be replaced and never having a functioning AC thereafter, I wanted to let people know that Jim was not competent in that area.

Had Jim install a complete Vintage Air heat and air system
in 1939 Chev. streetrod. Did a great job. Have had work
done on two separate Corvettes including air on one of
them. Did very good work. Steady and as honest as they
get.
