This is a Chevrolet Dealership. I have become acquainted with family owned operation to get new car service on my 1998 Geo Metro after purchasing it at a dealer in North Little Rock. They were very very considerate, and I was treated as if I had purchased the vehicle from them. This past January, I mentioned to one of the owners, how much I would like to have a 2WD 4DR cloth/bench seat Chevy Tahoe, preferably a 1997. They are a new car dealership with no used car area. You will never believe it, but this past March I was contacted at work by one of the owners, with just such a vehicle. I chose the 1997 because it would be closer to my price range. Because the truck was still a little bit more than I could afford, I felt I had to pass it by. Because I had a perfectly good 1989 (full size) Chevy Blazer that I would have to sell before I could buy the Tahoe. Oddly enough I had my CH/CA heat pump unit serviced the same day, and the owner of that company called me to ask if I wanted to sell my Blazer. OK. So after I had tried to get out of the sale (non sale really) without looking like a window shopper, I actually had a chance, called the dealership back and they came down!!! on the price $18,500. So that I could put the $5,000. down from the blazer sale (along with my Federal Tax Refund) and buy the car/truck I really wanted. I took a long time looking at the Tahoe, and the dealership never lost patience with me - the thing had a sticker price of $31,500. in 1997. The Ray's are a very nice family owned dealership. I do not think all car dealers are crooks. Some of them are Angels. And Louis, is the best mechanic ever. My husband now drives the Geo Metro because he works so far from home, and I love driving my Tahoe. I will sure keep my vehicles serviced at Ray Chevrolet.
