I brough my vehicle in with a difficult(?) drive-ability
problem. Three other shops worked on the vehicle (1997 GMC
2500 pickup) and made no improvement while charging a lot
of money. Sully (Auto Tech) took the vehicle and found a
very basic probem that none of the other shops thought to
check. The story is that I had the first shop replace the
upper manifod gasket and they re-installed the distributor
incorrectly so the timing was 11 degrees out of spec.
Sully thought to check the timing, changed it, checked
other functions for failure and charged very little for his
efforts.
