Two great experiences with Jim. A straightforward brake repair on a 15 yr old Subaru. A multiple problem, midwinter set of repairs on a 13 yr old Plymouth Voyager. In both cases, he was easy to work with. He explained what he found and what he expected to have to do. The shop rate is top notch (economical). For the Voyager, he did great troubleshooting, solved major problems simply, and didn't charge for the one problem he didn't dive into. (But he may have fixed it by doodling with a clip on a hose). Because he is a one man operation and does a bunch of towing when it's cold, I had no problem with having to wait a few days for the repair to be completed. Hey, it was -25 outside. Who's in a rush?

Jim is a retired First Sergeant and an awesome mechanic. He is honest and up front about all repair costs. He also has a towing business if you need a tow. It is a one man operation and sometimes he gets a tow call... so if you are patient, it is well worth the savings to have him work on your vehicle.

This is a small, primarily towing operation, but has the expertise and space to do almost any repair procedure as well. I've known the owner for a number of years and he is truthful, friendly and hard-working to ensure customer satisfaction. He's also an Army Veteran of well over 20 years of service to the nation. Great Guy, Great Service, Great Price. What more do you need?
