We have three family cars of various age. Superior Automotive has maintained all of these vehicles even after one of them was 'totaled' (from an insurance perspective). They are freindly, informative and we have never had to return for something not fixed. Their rates are comparable to others. They are considerate about when you are able to be without your car and always deliver on time.

Steve Small (owner) started the shop about 3 years ago. He was a mechanic at Griff's Chevron on Boniface for years. When Griff decided to close the bays and put in a mini food mart and sell burritos, Steve went out on his own. He let me know what was going on, and more important, where to find him. Recently, Steve was diagnosed with cancer, and his community raised enough money to pay for Steve's surgery, get his family medical insurance, and start an ongoing fund for other cancer patients. That is loyalty from his customers, many who have become friends through the years.

It took me a long time to find a shop that I liked, and I've stuck with them, even after they moved to a less convenient location. They've never screwed anything up (so I couldn't answer that question) and were instrumental in my last two vehicle purchases (I've been on Tom and Ray's 'buy a used car plan' even before I knew it was their plan!). I highly recommend these folks. I am a very satisfied customer, so maybe that does make me biased :-)

I love this shop. They are fabulous, fair, friendly and always willing to answer my questions, as silly as they may be! They always treat me the same as my husband, if not a little better! I never have to call my husband to ask if they're 'ripping me off'. I trust them implicitly with every car I've owned, from my crappy car to my new Volkswagen which they quickly put on my new snow tires. I waited because it never takes them more than 30 minutes and they're always willing to take me on a walk-in basis for little stuff and are always willing to take a look on short notice. They have always fixed everything right the first time and warned me when stuff might need to be fixed, but never given me any pressure to fix it, just fair warning. They keep track of my repair history and know me by name!

We've taken our old, faithful Ford Explorer in several times. The car had been totaled a couple of times (read teenage driving, icy roads) but still runs well and looks pretty decent considering it's had the rubber side up at least once. We've had very good service from Superior and "Butch". I always feel like they've been fair, have informed us when we had options, and most importantly, we've never had to go back because something didn't get fixed correctly the first time. I also take my newer Subaru Outback to them, so don't read this as if they are only good on clunkers.

I brought my car to Superior because they were recommended to me. My car had been into other shops with the same engine light issues. After, my first visit to Superior the problem light came on again after a week. What impressed me, Butch and his crew got the car back in right away, fixed the problem and was good on their word they back their service.
