I was new to the area last fall. I needed the blower motor replaced on my 2003 Buick LeSabre. So I went to a independent repair shop to have it replaced. After receiving a $390.00 repair bill, I decided that this was the last time I would use their services. I asked some of my coworkers who they used for a mechanic. Several highly recommended Fritz's Repair. I had a problem with a loss of power and I was expecting to need a tune up. The car had 110,000 miles, and I really didn't know the maintenance history. Mike, the owner of the repair shop, picked up my car from my office and did all the troubleshooting and test driving to come up with an accurate diagnosis. He then called me and told me the catalytic converter was plugged up. He provided a cost estimate and time of completion before proceeding with any repairs. The final bill was a little less than his estimate. The last time I had Mike work on my car I was experiencing what I believed to be transmission problems. The shifting was not consistent and it seemed that the transmission was going into overdrive a little earlier than it used to. I was expecting a large bill for transmission repairs. As it ended up, Mike found the throttle position sensor was defective. A bill of 145 dollars was a very welcome surprise. I have used Mike's services a couple of other times, and I have been very pleased with the service and pricing each time.
