I was driving across country when I started having problems with my Toyota truck. I went to this repair shop because they were the only place that could look at it that day. I was in a hurry to get back on the road, and had spent the previous night clugging along with a wierd acting, mad seeming, engine. I was in a position where I would have believed that there was a very big, very expensive problem with my truck. To my surprise, after looking over the truck and giving it a long test drive, I recieved a call from the repair shop's manager, or customer service fellow, I think his name was "Seth," explaining to me that they were unable to get my truck to exhibit the same symptoms I had described. Because of this, he said it would be a very expensive and time consuming endeavor for them to test all the things that could potentially be causing my truck to act up, and that because I was in transit and on a schedule, I should drive on to Cheyenne (the next sizable town) and if I encountered more of the same problems to visit the toyota repairshop there (of which he gave me phone number and address.) He also said that from as far as his mechanics could tell, nothing obvious was wrong with the truck, that it seemed to be running fine. I was very impressed with honesty in a situation where he could have easily taken me for a repair that wouldn't have fixed the problem.
