Johnny single-handedly kept my busted down cars ('86 Chevy Citation and '94 Ford Tempo) running through most of high school and college. Several times I had a problem, called him on short notice, and the car would be ready the next morning, after he told me it might take several days. He's always been extremely fair with price. One time my girlfriend took her car there, thinking there was a steering problem. Johnny put it on the rack, checked it out, drove it for an hour to try and feel what she was talking about. When he couldn't find anything, he told her bring it in if it happened again -- but didn't charge her a dime for taking two hours to examine the car. But the best thing about the shop is how well Johnny and his wife (who also works in the shop) get to know you. In fact, they knew me well enough to call me at my girlfriend's house instead of mine, because her place was closer to the garage and they knew that's where I always went when I dropped off my car. I would recommend Johnny without hesitation to anyone in the area.
