These folks have been working on my cars for years now, and have been able to track down any problems I've been able to throw at 'em. Best of all they don't give me any flack for fixing my own screwed-up repair attempts.

So I was having problems with an 85' Fiero GT. A lot of places don't even want to touch these things. Anyway, I was stuck, and living just down the road from River Falls Tire, I limped the car on over and hoped for the best. They said they would let me know before making repairs how much the repairs would be. They also asked me if there was an amount of money that I would allow them to fix up-to in case they couldn't get a hold of me, so they could continue and fix the car. I said they could repair up to 500 dollars worth, if it was anything more serious, I would need to make a decision before proceeding with repairs. So get this, the total bill was only $170. I basically offered them an excuse to charge up repairs up to 500 dollars, and they were so honest, they only fixed what needed fixing, and the bill was a fraction of that. I highly reccommend.

After having several quotes for timing belts on my Hondas, I was surprised to find the initial quick quote to be very significantly lower here. I said, "Are you sure that is correct? An hour later, they called back and said, "We did some digging, and it actually may be $50 more, because it is an Si model", and it was only about $30 more when I paid for it, but it was still about $200 cheaper than places in Hudson and the cities. They used quality parts, and were great to work with.

I have NEVER been to an honest mechanic. So when my car began to shake at high speed I cringed. NOW WHAT AND HOW MUCH IS IT GOING TO COST ME? We are new in this area (River Falls) so I got on Car Talk from the advice of a friend and found these guys. They were rated pretty highly so I thought I may as well try it out. All I can say is WOW. What I thought the problem was was NOT the problem and I didn't need to have an expensive repair. They took the time to explain the problem to me and refused to do an unnecessary repair. They could have easily done what I asked and then some but they were really honest and professional. I had them do an oil change, which I knew was overdue and they also fixed the headlights that the people I had gone to before had screwed up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys and will go back there when it is time for new tires. Keep up the great work and THANKS!
