During a big road trip from MN to Washington D.C., I went to visit a friend in Milwaukee, WI. About 30 minutes outside of Milwaukee, in a small town, my battery died, and I later discovered that my alternator was no good. After calling a list of shops I received from AAA and hearing estimates for more money than I had, I looked through the yellow pages for mechanics. I ended up taking my car to Tim's, and it was worth the extra searching to find him. After I explained my situation to him, and he stayed open for about an extra hour to fix my car. He was very congenial and very honest, and the total cost of my repairs, parts and labor, was about $95 (and that included a brand new alternator). Tim went the extra mile for me, and, though he is a long ways from me and I only went to him once, I recommend him whenever I can. He also has his own parts store.

Tim's Auto Service is an excellent service station in a very small town in NorthEast Wisconsin. He and all his hired help are very competent, honest and get the work done when they say it will be done. Tim's wife works in the office doing scheduling and all that, so she will give a fair shake to men and women alike. They are a great bunch of people!
