Jon Olsen has been my family's mechanic for many years. As a female customer, I have never felt taken-advantage-of. He is courteous, very reasonably-priced, and offers rides and loaner vehicles. I believe he is ASE certified (but did not check the option, as I am not certain), and in my experience has always stood by his work, though again, I don't know about guarentees on the work because any problems have always been fixed promptly as a matter of course. Highly recommended -- I tell friends and neighbors to go to him, and they tend to go back.

I loved having Jon as a mechanic. He's been may family's mechanic for years, before he opened his own shop. My husband and I agree that the worst part of moving away (further education) was losing a great mechanic. We still call him for advice when we get questionable advice or price quotes, and he's perfectly honest. He's even told us when certain repairs are unnecessary or unlikely to pay off.
