We Have had excellent experience. They were recommended by a neighboor. I took my cadillac to a dealesfor repair and they came quoted many items to be fixed. Some of which I found questioable, prompting us to get a second opinion from Village Car care. There it was all far less and those items I found questioable were not quoted to be fixed. When asked if they found my frontend to be sound since I was about to undertake some lengthy traveling they said nothing was wrong. The frt end and rear shocks were supposed to be problems. Since then we have been taking our cars, a Subaru and the Cadillac there and always satisfied with courtesy, punctuality, and price. Edmond

The personnel are good to deal with. Always courteous, up front and just pleasant. Work is done always in a timely fashion and prices are lower. I learned to know of them by using them for a second opinion twice and both times they were far cheaper and informed me that service quoted as needed to be done by the dealer, really were not needed.

I had a slow leak in a tire, and after finding a nail head, decided to maybe get it fixed ASAP. I stopped at my usual place where I had bought the very expensive tires a month before, and was told that they were too busy to fix my tire, but I could make an appointment for next week. That was not an answer I could put up with, so I decided to sever my relationship with this business, after telling them they might want to check out the definition of customer service. On my way home, three other shops, one a nation wide tire chain, told me they were also too busy to fix the tire, also not the answer I wanted to hear. I walked into Village Car Care, and after asking if they were busy and being told yes very, I expected to hear the same answer I had been hearing. When I explained my problem, they said, "We can't have you driving on a tire like that, but it could take awhile". So I sat for 15 minutes(that was awhile) the tire was done and I was on my way. THAT was customer service.

I was far from my home base west of Seattle. After ill-advisably trying to plow a field with an aspen limb attached to my brake line, I slowly motored in seeking aid. After advising me that parts for my "85 blue VW Golf might have some procurement difficulties, they proceeded. A master brake cylinder was easy but the equalizer valves became an issue. The wholesaler's supplier was vague about delivery time, but the folks at the VCCc kept on their case. The boss went to a local junkyard following a good but false lead. Finally his daughter drive 45 minutes to the parts dealer in a less desirable part of Milwaukee (where else would a car parts wholesaler be?) and got the equalizer valve. The boss installed the part, working past closing on a Friday night, and got me on the road. The bill came in 10% below the estimate! Talk about great service! ( and his name wasn't even Crusty!)
