They came highly recommended by many co-workers. They have low prices. They are very honest. They let me know that one of the new tires I had purchased (from a different mechanic) was defective. They told me how I could trade my defective tire for a new one- I ended up with two new tires, free of charge. They will give you a ride to work in the morning if you can find a ride back at the end of the day.

These guys are great. I had an 87 Honda Civic hatchback that needed to get worked on every so often, and took it to Westside Service Center on recommendation from coworkers. Work was always done in a timely and proficient manner. They also are very good about calling you after diagnosing the problem but before actually doing any additional work, to make sure you want any repairs made. My fiance has taken her Geo Prizm in for them to look at on occasion, and loves them as well. A little story to illustrate why I recommend these guys: After one particular incident where I flooded my engine pretty badly and washed the cylinders (not that I knew that was the problem at the time), it took them the better part of a day to figure out exactly what was wrong with the car, but I was only charged for the hours and work done after they had figured out the problem and called me to run it by me.
