A couple of years ago I told them that there was a lot more road noise than usual when I drove the car. They test drove the car and agreed that there was. They spent quite a bit of time trying to determine what the problem might be. They even put new wheel bearings on the car bu tthe problem would not go away so they did not charge me for them. Finally they looked at the rear tires and noticed that they were not wearing correctly. They advised me to get new rear tires. I got new rear tires and that fixed the problem. They spent considerable time on my problem for very little monetary gain. I was very impressed.

I was impressed with them from the first phone call. The owner took the time to talk to us and gave us an estimate that was $100 less than the other two shops we called. The repair initially took less time than we expected. When we picked up the car, they voluntarily brought out the old parts to show us what was wrong and why. There was a problem with the repair (timing belt), but they resolved the problem in timely and professional matter, and of course at their expense. I liked the fact that the mechanics liked working on our car(Jetta TDI). They even said it was fun. That's encouraging. One complaint would be that they neighborhood wasn't safe enough for us to drop our car and keys off the night before. They admitted that it might get stolen.
