They've kept our 1996 Mercury Villager running like a top! I became a real believer when I recently took the Villager to the nearby shop of a national service chain for a "Check Engine" light. The chain first told me that they couldn't run the codes until they'd done two hours of repairs to the OBDII sending unit. Moreover, they "alerted" me to another $2800 of critical brake and front end work. I politely declined and took the minivan to Jack Carroll, asking them to look for brake and front end problems, in addition to the check engine light. Not only were they able to read the OBDII sender without a problem, it was a relatively minor problem--a leaking EGR hose. And when that arrived one day later than promised, the service manager volunteered that they had ordered the wrong part, and were not going to charge for labor as a result. Net result: a $130 bill instead of $2800, and a complete, written bill of health for our beloved Villager--including brakes and front end suspension. I will not take my Villager anywhere else ever again.
