I took my '92 Mercury Topaz after having a leak in the cooling system for quite a few months that wasn't getting any better. The place was clean, both the mechanics explained everything in great detail to the point of calling me two times during the day to update me. The problem was not a $450 radiator and hose replacement, it was a bypass hose that was 4 inches long. With a couple of clamps, labor (didn't even charge for a full hour) and tax, the total bill was $62!! They also ran a test for free when they noticed alot of steam coming out the tailpipe.

My partner took her Subaru ( 1988 ) to this shop on two occasions and both times they explained the problem in detail to her, repaired the problem quickly, and explained any future issues she might expect. The last trip they repaired a damaged drain valve without removing the radiator which was a major savings over going to a regular repair shop which would have removed the radiator and shipped it out. Little shop that really cares for their customers.
