Jeff works on Volvos for the local Volvo dealer! So I trust him totally with my Volvo, and don't have to pay dealer prices. If it's a loose hose or some silly little thing, he does it *for free.* And he won't fix something if it doesn't really need to be fixed. Great sense of humor. And he's a great dad. (He built a haunted house in the backyard for his 13-year old daughter last Halloween.) He supports neighborhood causes. His lot looks like a Park-&-Ride (where people park and then take the bus). Over the weekend, it fills up, so that on Monday, he must quake in his boots when he comes in -- seeing everything waiting for him. People just have their cars towed there.

These guys are great. I'd been having trouble finding a reliable mechanic and a coworker recommended Johnson's. They are quite a bit away from home but worth it.

I had an 87 vanagon POS I was very attached to, but it was having a hard time with reliability. Jeff Johnson patiently fixed everything as it came in, expecially after I had had trouble with another mechanic. I had a reliable mechanic near my home for my other cars but who couldn't fix some of the geriatric problems on the vanagon, and I looked for another full service mechanic for the old beast. I went through a couple of mechanics until I went to see Jeff Johnson. ( Jeff's father had operated the neighborhood serrvice/gas station until his lease was cancelled and a Tully's coffee shop (think starbuck's) built. I'd forgootten that Jeff had opened a repair shop a few miles north. Jeff and crew fixed stuff that was supposedly unfixable. At this car's age, it was vague noises, clunks, intermittent electrical/non starting and stalling issues. Finally he took me aside and told me he didn't want to see me and the vanagon together again. I suspected a family conspiracy, but when Jeff told me to get rid of it, I got rid of it. He very reasonable and extended my love affair with the vanagon until it was time to take it off life support. Jeff is now doing the service on my 2004 element.

They have always been very responsive to our needs including taking the car up to the Emission Testing Station themselves to try to determine why it didn't pass the test after their test showed that it should. Very informative and prompt in their service.

I have been going to Johnson's since they moved into the neighborhood. It is the only place I bring my cars to. They have always been curtious and easy to deal with. On a major repair, they quoted me one price and when I came to pick up my car, Jeff told me the repair had cost an extra $100, but that he was not going to charge me because it was more than his estimate. My only complaint - I believe that their prices are on the high side. I go there anyway because I know that I can trust them and my car will be fixed and be ready on time.

During my years using their services, they've worked on my '90 Ford Taurus, '95 Dodge Stratus and '95 Chevy Astro. They provide exemplary service.
