Ray, Karen, and Eion have been consistently wonderful in taking care of me and my 1991 VW Vanagon Camper. They have always been fair in pricing, honest about what was wrong, fixed what they said they'd fix, and took the time to explain things to me. They are also very friendly. When I was buying my Vanagon, they did a $75 evaluation of the car, which took over 2 hours, and they let me watch the entire process and explained what they found. This shop is excactly what I wanted in a VW shop!

Great shop - family owned and run. Dad has 40 years experience, son has 10. Both are VW Certified Mechanics.

I bought a used 95 VW Golf, knowing it was going to need a little fixing up. I looked up a VW specialist mechanic on CarTalk's Mechanic X-Files and found this shop in my area with good reviews. Boy, are they reviews right! Before buying the car I got, I had called up the shop to ask Ray questions about how much it would cost to fix up other cars I was looking at. He was a wealth of information. Several times he said he gives free phone tech support, and he sure does willingly. I took my 95 golf in to get the belts replaced along with getting the antifreeze flushed (it was so dirty, you couldn't see the floating bulb in a hydrometer!). After making an appointment a few days in advance, I took it in around 10am. The car was done by 4pm that day. Furthermore, they also replaced the antifreeze reservoir tank for FREE with a used spare they had sitting around since it was filled with rust and junk. There was also a light in my dash, which I wa in the process of looking around town for, which they put in for me for free. Bottom line, very helpful, knowledgeable, and honest mechanics.

The guys at TEC were great. They explained in great detail why my car wasn't running well and fixed it right the first time. The owner is very trust-worthy, and I felt like I wasn't getting taken advantage because I am a woman.

They were very knowlegable and friendly. They explained the problem in detail to me and never took advantage of the fact that I am a 22 year old female. I would recommend them to anyone!
