My family has been dealing with Highland Garage for almost 30 years. They always have lots of cars in their lot to be worked on, and they get them in and out fast. Their focus seems to be on getting you in and out as quickly as possible, and fixing it right. Often they can diagnose, and sometimes FIX the problem while you're parked out front. Sometimes they will say, "Just go down to the NAPA dealer, get <such and such a part> and replace that, and it will fix your problem." They're rarely wrong, and they don't charge you for that kind of thing. They don't normally bandaid things, unless you balk at having it done right, due to cost. If the cost is too much, they will offer alternatives and tell you what the trade-off will be. They are the most competent mechanics I have come across in the area.

I was very impressed by this mechanic as I was interested in having my CV joints replaced on the car and he encouraged me to leave them on as he felt they were not damaged. It has been a rare experience for me to have a person in his position take the time to convince a customer not to do unnecessary work. Unfortunately there is always a down side and here it is that the garage has about three weeks of work before they can get your car i

I have been taking my vehicles to Carl for over 14 years. I have never had a bad experience. They have done everything from replacing engines to replacing light bulbs. Carl bends over backward to make sure his customers are satisfied. I will trust no other garage with my repairs.
