I have been taking my vehicles to Ray at Cascade Automotive nearly 22 years. This shop has done maintenance and repair work on my ' 78 Honda Accord, ' 83 Olds, ' 92 Thunderbird Supercoupe, ' 97 Mercury Marquis and a a no name car I purchased for my son, Ray is the owner of Cascade Automotive and employs a very competent crew. Ray and his crew are always very helpful when a problem arises and will talk to you straightforwardly concerning your vehicle's problems. On the one occasion over the years that the problem was not fixed the first time the repair was done again at no cost to me. This was the installation of a rebuilt alternator that was faulty and not the fault of the mechanic's work. Over the years I have taken my vehicles to other shops and to the dealer while they were still under warranty but I have always experienced some dissatisfaction. Cascade Automotive has been the best choice overall. I recommend their work highly.

I took my Ford Ranger to Cascade Automotive first thing this morning. The shifter had become frighteningly loose. It was repaired and ready to go by noon. When I picked it up, Murray, the mechanic, not only verbally explained what his diagnosis was, he also drew me a picture. The bill was way less than I had expected it to be. These guys are personable and obviously love their work.

I live north of Seattle, but located a Subaru Outback in Enumclaw that I was interested in. I test drove the car on a Sunday, then called Cascade Automotive Monday morning for a pre-purchase inspection on the basis of other reviews on the Car Talk website. Cascade did a thorough inspection, communicated with me via phone and email and provided a laundry list of things the car needed, including head gaskets, valve cover gaskets and rear main seal. Rather than trying to make lemonade out of a lemon, I declined to purchase the car. The guys at Cascade were highly competent and I would recommend them without reservation. Thanks Ray and Joe.
