If it's not broke, they won't fix it. Even if you say, I think the gizmo needs to be replaced, they will only do what is necessary. No cheating. Fixed right the first time and on time.

I brought the vehicle in with a transmission leak. They looked for the leak the better part of the day. They tightened a few clamps and bolts. They charged me NOTHING because they didn't find a problem. They asked me bring it back if tightening things didn't do it, but they think it will. I tried the place out at the recommendation of a friend. He had the same experience - they looked for a problem for several hours, but charged him nothing because they didn't find a problem. They have two affiliated shops that do transmission work and all other general repairs. I'll go back even though it's a long drive for me.

Hey, these guys are straight-shooters. My aunt Dorothy took her cars here for maintance and routine checks for years. Partly because the desk folks (who are actual mechanics) are down-home easy to talk with. And they make you feel confident and comfortable. And, get this, the mechanic who worked on your vehicle will call you 2 weeks later to ask if you are satisfied or if you have any problem with what was repaired. Hey, I say that in itself deserves the local Chamber of Commerce triple AAA rating. My cousin always takes his vehicles there, too. And we all give K. C. Martin a jumbo thumbs up.

These guys are straight-shooters. They tell you what your options are and what they believe is the best fix. They prove their honesty by showing you the bum parts they removed and replaced. And, get this, the head mechanic gives you a call 2 weeks later to ask if you are satisfied with the work or if you have any further troubles. Now that's follow through! And a very curteous gesture. KC Martin gets 5 Stars in my book. EC

Very honest. I've taken various cars and my pickup there on numerous occaisions. Twice, they have found some mickey mouse problem, fixed it, and didn't charge me. I feel like I can trust them when they tell me something major needs fixed.

My vehicle broke down on my way into Lynnwood for the first time on a business trip. I limped to my motel room, plugged in my laptop, and found that 5 reviewers on this site spoke well of KC Martin. That was enough for me. They were first class in their diagnosis, estimate, repairs, and customer service. By the way, the Comfort Inn just down the street from them took good care of a traveler in distress as well.

We had relatives traveling from CA to PA in 1991 Doge van. It was overheating from CA to WA and they wanted to have to cooling system checked. We took it in for diagnosis and and estimate. They gave us an estimate that included all the necessary work for a good repair of an older car. We had questions and our relatives didn't want to put the total amount of money into this vehicle so.... After questions and discussion of options and alternatives our relatives opted for replacement of the radiator and an oil change. This process included talking to the mechanic who was knoweledgable and very helpful. After the decision was made and the work oked, the van was repaired by the next morning. The mechanic Dereck and Mike who took care of the billing for us were enthusiastic about the trip and gave us tips about other leak possibilities for leaks in other parts of the engine. We highly recommend this repair shop.
