These guys are GREAT! They once made a mistake on a repair, took full responsibility for it, made it right and still treated me with respect! I've been going to them ever since (about 12 years!) and recommend them to many people. They are a minority owned/run business, but treat all equally well, and they know their "stuff". They have done major rebuilds/restorations on several Nash Metropolitans in the past 6 years, have taken care of my Jeep Cherokee, Mazdas, Aerostar, and other rigs for years. They have earned my confidence (and I don't trust mechanics readily) with their explanations and performance.

There motto is "Fix it right the first time." How can you argue with that? They've given me nothing but great service, help, and advice when I had my late 80's Oil burning Dodge K car every time I've had to ask it of them (which was quite often I should say!).

We have taken our breakdown-prone Jeep Grand Cherokee to Al's many times and they have always fixed the problem, no matter how intermittent or hard to diagnose. They have also found and fixed the mistakes of other mechanics, including a bad transmission replacement that caused bolts to fall off, potentially saving us hundreds of dollars in additional repairs. They treat their female customers equally and with respect, which is a refreshing improvement from the treatment we have received from other mechanics. We have had nothing but positive experiences with Al's Auto and will continue to take all of our vehicles there.

They were honest and helpful. I will definitely be back, hopefully not soon though.
