My favorite visit was when my wife mis-threaded the gas cap and we couldn't get it off. Rob came out with some channel locks and spent about 10 minutes working on it until he wrestled/ripped it off (no damage to car, but cap was history). No charge, or snickers to our face.

After numerous frustrating experiences with auto shops, I was delighted to find this treasure. The mechanics are competent, and try to find the least expensive way to fix a problem. Imagine that! They always tell me if a repair is out of their area of expertise, and refer me to an expert. Our household has 3 vehicles with 100,000+ miles each, so finding a shop that can keep these babies running as long as possible is terrific. The folks at the shop have that very positive small-town attitude and friendliness, which makes the whole experience less painful. Great shop!

My husband and I have had multiple cars serviced by Hi-Way Fuel. We trust them for advice; they never oversell or push us into doing extras. Their estimates are accurate than the repair cost, at times, the repair cost is lower. They are always happy to show me what is wrong when I ask and they've fixed minor things for free (a stuck trunk lock, replaced a bulb). I especially appreciate that they run the car through their car wash after repairs are done--something they don't have to do.
