Lyle was great. I had taken my car to High Road Automotive in Seattle and they had charged me an arm and a leg to just look at the car to diagnose the problem- which they never did. I took my car to Bothell Import Service and was told what the problem was and its cost. As a young single woman who knows a little about cars- it was refreshing to be treated as an equal and not talked down to about my car.

I had a new starter motor installed at Bothell Import Service. They gave me a quick estimate (that they stuck to) and had the work done a day earlier then anticipated. They also adjusted my carburator, free of charge. My buddy who drives a VW Scirocco also had a good experience there; he had his head replaced, and they cleaned his engine, free of charge. I've only heard good/had good experiences with this shop. Their work is quality, the price is right, and they work on rotaries (a VERY good thing for me).

I brought my 1986 Toyota Camry to Bothell Import Service when it began to have a number of problems in the early 2000s. The owner, Nate, clearly explained what fixes needed to be done, provided excellent and timely service, and charged less than the previous mechanic I had been using. When cost was a concern, as it often was when I had my old Camry, Nate was willing to discuss what issues were priority fixes and what could safely wait. I continued to go there for regular maintenance once I bought a newer Toyota Corolla. Nate always answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. The prices are reasonable, and everything is itemized on the bill. I wish the shop were open on the weekends; however, I'm willing to arrange my schedule to ensure I can bring my car to a mechanic I trust. I feel confident both in the repairs and in the maintenance service. I've recommended this shop to my parents and friends and would highly recommend this shop to anyone.
