I had been bringing my Voyager to these guys for several years with no major complaints about their service. Then the car started needing a quart of oil every 1000 miles, then every 500 miles, finally every 300 miles. It was also having a lot of trouble making it up long hills. The service manager recommended just keep adding oil. Since the rest of the car was in great shape, I asked him to look for a new engine for me and he said he would. Once I left the car with him for ten days while I went on vacation in a rental car, without any luck. Later, the engine finally went and I had it towed in to them. They tore it apart and said it wasn't worth fixing. The choice they gave me at this point was to pay $500 for the work they had done or sign the car over to them. I gave them the car and within several months we saw it on the road again with the service manager behind the wheel. Same decals on the bumpers and everything--no doubt it was the same vehicle. He got a pretty good deal.
