This is a third-generation shop (Grandpa Ugo, passed on, alas; Dad Jack, retired but still nearby and pitching in as needed; brothers Bruce and Dean, carrying on the family tradition). The shop has FEW amenities but possesses the BEST political commentary/cartoon wall (in the office, right where you have to linger while waiting to ask about that weird noise in the front end). And Bruce is a storehouse of folk wisdom and humor a la Will Rogers. But, most importantly for CarTalk fans, Bruce is a wizard automotive diagnostician and can fix (or rebuild) practically anything that can go wrong with a car--and if he can't, he says so and saves you money. I have bought several used cars from Baroffio's (and other family members have done so as well) and had all of them serviced there for the last twenty-eight years. I hope to continue for another twenty-eight or more.

Honest as the decades are long. Always friendly and concerned for their customers. IF they can't help you; they are not afraid to refer, BUT I have never had that problem. Wishing them many prosperous years.
