Josh, Zack and the rest of these folks are great. Honest, professional, courteous and friendly. It sometimes seems that the mechanics have forgotten more about Volvos than most certified mechanics will ever know! I've had some fairly involved issues with my Volvo Cross Country AWD wagon, one of the most complex and vexing cars to work on ever produced, and they make the diagnosing, repair and testing of these intricate beasts look easy, although it's anything but. The prices are top-notch, and they have a wide variety of good used parts to save a lot of money on the bill when used parts are an appropriate alternative to new OEM Volvo parts, the most overpriced parts on the planet. They know when a new part's necessary and when a used part is adequate or even desirable over new. Also, they have a broad knowledge and experience rare in rural garages. They know if and how a part or repair will affect the larger picture of the driving experience for the customer, and they have a sophisticated and thorough method of working on Volvos that I've never seen before at any of the scores of Volvo-specific garages all over the country. Give these guys a try... they're not only a great alternative to Volvo dealers, they're THE best Volvo mechanics I've ever found in 34 years of owning Volvos- no kidding!

These folks know so much about what they do, do it so well, and work so well together that it seems almost invisible to the customer... I stop in, drop off my car after having a conversation that's followed a phone conversation or an e-mail conversation, leave and come back later in the day or at day's end. The car's finished, perfectly repaired, the bill usually less than their estimate and never more, I pay as I have a conversation about how it went and when I should be back in and why... always, always the best experience of my day... I wish everything worked like my relationship with Packard and my car after I drive out their driveway! They're *that* good. My wife's soon buying a car from them to insure she'll stay out on the road and not in the shop, and I'm trading mine in there to buy one from them... I need as much time as I can get in all the OTHER areas of my life, and by continuing to happily deal with the gentlemen at Packard- John, Amos, Josh and Zach, I know that I'll have more time elsewhere, every time. ;^)
