The thing that speaks best for Hall's Auto is that my husband accepted them and lets them work on his car. When we married, I took his eye doctor and he took my mechanic. My husband has always (till he met me!) been poor and done all his own mechanic work, including rebuilt engines, switch transmissions, etc., not just easy stuff like changing oil and filters. He drove a truck for years. So the fact that he trusts Philip Hall to work on his vehicle is very high praise. Owner Philip Hall once greeted me: "I've been trying to figure out all day how to explain to you what's wrong with your car. I finally figured it out. You have a Japanese car with an American nameplate and a German problem." [1986 Chev Nova=Toyo Corolla] "What's that" Says I [woman w/ VERY limited mechan. skills] "You aren't getting enough compression in 1 of your 4 cylinders." "Huh?" says I "Tell Andrew [husband w/ very HIGH mechanical skills and sympathy] to call me and we'll talk about it." Needless to say, Philip has a great sense of humor!
