I am a faithful Car Talk listener/reader, and learned half of everything I know from Tom and Ray ;) I love LOVE LOVE this auto shop. Sam, the service manager, has always given me timely assistance, the repairs are done when they say they will, the costs are reasonable, and I've never had to take a car back to them to re-do something they've already done. I've taken my 86 Toyota Corolla, my 86 Ford, and my 99 Saturn to them, and they've always done right by me. They distinguish between what HAS to be done right now, what will need to be done soon, and what should be done eventually. Their estimates of about how much life is left in a certain car or certain part of the car has always been dead-on. For a garage attached to a gas station, these guys are fantastic. Heck, even for a shop not attached to a gas station, they'd be fantastic. As a female customer, I have never felt like they were treating me poorly or giving me the run-around.

I've been there for over 10 years now. They have always been honest and reasonably priced. I have always trusted the manager's (Sam now and previously Kevin) recommendations since they seem to make perfect sense and do not try to come up with some sort of strange justification for unwanted work. They have even told me not to do something when it is not necessary. BTW, I love Car Talk!
