Folks, O.K., I know that Tysons Towing doesn't fix cars but I felt compelled to pay tribute to this small business establishment through the one true Vehicle Lover's avenue that was appropriate; Car Talk. After all, you have to get the vehicle to and from the shop for repairs (please read on). My wife's originally owned '95 Vette died recently (I'm sorry... fainted - "I'm not dead yet. I'm feeling much better."). After hearing a solemn report from the dealer, I had to scramble to get the car back home and find a suitable "replacement" for her Baby. I searched on the web for nearby businesses for a tow and came across a local address during lunch time. After I returned home from work, I called the phone number. To my surprise, a welcome and unrecorded voice picked up on the other end of the line. Bear in mind that this was my significant and smarter other's Baby so I had prepared a list of critical questions to ask before honoring anyone to transport the vehicle. Question by question, I was calmly reassured that my wife's Baby would make it back home intact. Also note that I had placed four brightly colored cones in the driveway for proper placement and requested with some embarrassment for it (she) to be placed gently between them. After getting my questions answered thoroughly and sharing some car stories, I was convinced that I had found the proper establishment. John, the proprietor, then offered a reduction in cost and the deal was sealed. The next morning I received a polite phone call to notify me that the car had been transported to our house safely and without trouble. I was assured that the car had been placed squarely between the cones and it looked as if I had simply backed the car into the driveway. Later in the day, I received a follow-up call to make sure that all was fine. When I pulled into the drive that evening, the car was positioned exactly as promised. A bill arrived in the mail a few days later with yet another cost reduction. I know times are tough but I would have happily paid just as much for the pleasant service. As an "optimistic cynic", I felt I must convey my gratitude for the excellent service. If you ever find yourself stranded on the outskirts of DC, give Tysons Towing a call. I have only one experience with them but it was such a relief.

What a fantastic towing company! Honest, well-priced, and open 24/7. My husband's car tire busted while driving on I-66 at 1:00AM and couldn't be fixed with a spare. (And, no, we don't have an auto club policy.) After doing a google search, I came across Tysons Towing and decided to give them a call. Not only did the tow operator/owner actually answer the phone at 1 in the morning, he agreed to tow it at anytime to anywhere we needed. He was extremely professional, knew the area well, and his charging price was very reasonable. I recommend him to all my friends and family in NoVA and have saved his phone number in my cell phone. Tyson's Towing: 866-677-4480.
