While waiting for an oil change, I listened to the owner explain why a repair was not necessary to a not- mechanically inclinded customer. I was impressed by the patience and integrity shown by the mechanic.

I got a used car pre-purchase inspection at Kaz's before buying my 2005 Pontiac Vibe. They were very quick, the price was reasonable, and they explained the results (which were minor) and answered my questions. My experience with them is obviously limited, but I have a favorable opinion.

I took my vehicle in to get an estimate. I identified exactly what was wrong and what I wanted done and simply asked how much it would cost. They were too busy to see me, so I dropped the vehicle off. They quoted me the same ridiculously high price that the dealer wanted, so I said no thank you. When I picked up the vehicle they charged me over $40 for labor. The bill they handed me said that the labor cost was to identify the problem, which of course was the same problem I told them about before dropping the vehicle off. I won't ever go here again.
