On the way to work one Saturday morning my 1987 Subaru's timing belts slipped causing a huge loss of power. I limped it into the shop late that same afternoon. Top speed was about 30mph and it sounded terrible. Mike, the mechanic, saw I was upset about the car and said he would look at it on Monday. Sunday afternnon I received a call from Mike. He was at the shop and had worked on my car. He got it running but said two of the valves were shot and the outlook of this engine (187k miles) was not good. He gave me several options and I chise to trade it in on a new car. When I picked my car up that Sunday Mike said, "No charge." He could have charged me but he did not. That was three and a half years ago.

My family and I have been using the services of Potomac Creek Automotive since 1997, and I just cannot say enough about what a great shop this is. They have worked on 5 different vehicles of ours, doing everything from oil changes to engine replacement. We have always been treated well, and their work is First Class. It's great to have a local shop of this caliber, where you can be assured of an honest job done for a fair price. We have lived in this area for over 25 years and tried most of the area shops, but after discovering Potomac Creek, they have been our exclusive auto service shop. I have recomended them to others and they have been very pleased also.

They take care of us (my fiancee too) and are always honest. They don't have any trouble telling you that you need this thing, or that thing replaced, but if it can wait they'll tell you too. They have done several "no charge" things for us that they could have charged us for, but they didn't. They have also found cheap fixes for what we thought would be major problems. These guys are honest, and have treated us with respect, male or female. I don't feel like I have to go to the shop with my fiancee to make sure they take care of her. They won't try and sell you a "Johnson Rod & Headlight fluid" They'll also try and take you in in an emergency if they can. They have done that several times for us. Cheers, D & A
