My wife and I arrived from out-of-state to surprise my parents on their 60th anniversary, and our car's air conditioner went out during the 950 mile trip from Florida. It was inconvenient...you know, middle of July and 90+ degrees kind of inconvenience! Anyway, we mention our problem to the hotel manager and she recommended the folks at Import Car Service. We only had a few hours before the big gathering, so we drove over to see what could be done. The place was packed with cars waiting to be serviced; it didn't look promising to get any work done on short notice. Lo and behold, the manager listens to our situation and fits us in immediately. I wasn't sure what to expect, what with a Mercedes from out of town and in a bind. Final results: problem fixed within 45 minutes for only $70 (parts and labor). That night I mentioned the shop's great customer service to my 84-year old father; he said he's used them before with similar results. Sounds like a winner to me.

There is no public transportation in beautiful downtown Smithfield, but they have given me a lift home when necessary. They are good people, honest, dependable and reliable.
