Fully equipped shop. Work on all models AFAIK. They don't sneer at old beaters. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. If I can't do it myself, I take it to Miles. Only once have they failed to fix a problem, and that was intermittent.

They have always been helpful, and when my son managed to blow up a perfectly good used Hyundai, they tried to give it life support, and bought it for a few bucks when dead rather than having us get charged for towing it away.

When the engine in my '98 pickup blew, the guys at Miles had a remanufactured engine in it in two days, and it's run like a champ since. Emerson even stayed late so that I could pick it up after hours. For heavy engine repairs, I wouldn't go antwhere else.

The actual price came in under the quote. Not by much, but considering the last place I went to, we were charged quite a bit more than the quote. (Grove Exxon -- they are AWFUL! I filed a BBB complaint.) In addition, we were contacted a couple of days later to make sure the work they did (timing belt and water pump replacement) was to our satisfaction. Then a week later we get a card directing us to a website they maintain that will track the repairs done on my car. TERRIFIC customer service. I will be back. (And w/ 2 cars approaching 8 yrs old each, I'm sure we'll be back soon.)
