Old man Fletcher ran the place for years. When he passes, his wife operated the shop for 10 years. When she retired, long-time lead mechanic bought her our last year and is busting his keester to make the place thrive. Trustworthy and hard working group.

After many yeras of going to Merchant's/Tire Kingdom, I began using Fletcher's/Fraser's when my aunt told me about them. Nobody can beat their prices. My only annoyance is the time issue. When they look at my car, they fix it fast, but oftentimes my car is sitting for days before it is even looked at.

I concur with the other reviewers. This is the most honest car repair shop I've ever dealt with. Best story - We moved to Newport News (right around the corner from the shop. Mr. Fletcher ran the shop then and Mike Fraser (the current owner) was his top mechanic. We had a Ford Escort wagon which was running badly and leaking oil. I took it to Mr. Fletcher for a diagnosis. After looking over the car, Mr. Fletcher said, "Here's my advice. Put in some real heavy oil and sell this thing as soon as you can. My wife is going to kill me 'cause I could make a lot of money off of you trying to repair this thing but it just wouldn't be the right thing to do." After this, I took all my car work to him and Mike for the next 20 years until we moved. My daughter lives there now and still goes to Frasers.
