I was most impressed with the integrity and honesty of the repair shop. My first inclination was to avoid dealership repair shops because of the high cost. The repair costs are a bit higher, perhaps by 25 percent, but the repairs are always done right the first time and with Honda parts, which I found to be of higher quality than non-Honda parts. No matter how busy the shop got, someone always took the time to fully explain what was done and why. I have never had any unpleasant surprises (that is additional repairs, charges, etc.) waiting when I picked up my car.

My wife has a '92 Civic, several friends have newer Hondas and all speak highly of the service department. We are both retired and married after being widowed. She insisted on another Honda and I finally convienced her it should be a hybrid. I sold a Miata,(130k miles) which I miss, but love the '04 hybrid. After 20k miles our overall fuel economy was 42.5 mpg. What I really like is the engine stopping at traffic lights!!!

They found nails in two of my tires. The mechanic came and got me, showed me the nails, and then gave me the nails they removed. He was very good about explaining the situation and giving me cautions about the tires.
