mr pulliam's shop was recommended to me by a neighbor when i moved to fredericksburg. mr pulliam is courteous, professional, smart about the kind of repairs to make/not make on my older car, generous with his time and expertise. also low-key and his mechanics really seem to like and respect him, so the atmosphere is positive -- yet he is always moving, always working, just not stressed out. he did major work on my car, minor work on my husband's before we left the area and we were completely happy with everything.

My husband and I first met Bill Pulliman 19 years ago when he was a service rep at the Buick dealership in town. Our 1987 Buick Riviera needed tune-ups, and he was always curious and informative about what our car needed and why it needed to be done. Around 10 years ago, Bill opened his own auto repair business, and we have been taking our cars to him for repair ever since. Even though he has repaired our other cars, i.e. Dodge Caravan, Chevrolet Cavalier, over the years, the 1987 Buick is probably the most repaired car we have. And it is still running. At 250,000 miles, it has yet to have an engine overhaul. Now that is impressive, isn't it?
