Don and his gang of mechanics have kept our 1984 Nissan Sentra (226,000+ miles, we're the original owners) humming along for the past 7 years or so. They have performed a variety of maintenance-type repairs (radiator, water pump, fuel pump, carburetor rebuild) for us. We're always pleased with the service and attention we receive. Recently, after some 224,000 miles, the carburetor finally bought the farm (I would say after that many miles, the car deserves a new carburetor, wouldn't you?) Well, Don & crew were able to install the new carburetor but couldn't get the idle to maintain the proper level in the midrange. So Don, who also has a small truck rental franchise on site, arranged to have the car sent to Manassas, VA, some 45 miles away, for diagnostics and repair by a carburetor specialty shop there. This was done at no extra cost to us, since Falls Run couldn't handle the problem. I would say this action exemplifies exceptional service which one wouldn't find at just any shop. Of course, we've been faithful customers for many years and our loyalty probably helped in this matter. We're moving from the area soon and we'll hate to lose our mechanics! We'll check out the CarTalk files for a new mechanic in our new town! P.S. The Sentra has been a great car and is in great condition, body and engine-wise. We plan to drive it till it drops. But now that we're approaching a quarter million miles, we are planning to get a newer car to help take the load off of the senior citizen that's served us so well for so long.
