These group of hardworking minority came to my rescue and found me a transmission for my '86 Pulsar. I thought the bill would be $1,500, but it was $931 (including a new clutch). It seems to me these people don't charge an hourly rate but by the job. It took them a 1 1/2 day to do such a big job. The owner is an retired race car driver.

I have been to Saturn of Manassas 3 times for repairs. First was to have the tailpipe replaced (I cut it in half replacing the oil pan gasket...doh), the second time was to get the rear main seal/clutch/timing chain replaced. Third was to have a motor mount replaced. Mark was my mechanic and he is by far the best mechanic I have found in Northern Virginia. I have been to other Saturn dealers, one of which refused to sell me parts. I do most of my own work and only trust a few 'chosen' individuals to touch my car. They're nice to deal with and I have no problem trekking the 18 miles into Manassas to get major work done.

Great folks! I had some problems with a repair, which turned out to be caused by a "bad apple" mechanic. That can happen to ANY shop. What is important is, when they discovered he was doing poor work, they got rid of him, and didn't try to hide the problem. Then they made my problem right. EVERY business sometimes has problems, but how they FIX the problems tells you the quality of a business. Two thumbs up! The White Nissan Guy
