Summers has been great to deal with. I recently had my Honda towed into their station when it would not start. They spent several days trying to identify the problem (of course the car started once it got to the their garage!). They also checked an overheating problem I had and took considerable time to explain the situation and offer me several options. They did not replace any parts without if they could not positively determine the problem . Other Honda service centers I have been to would have replaced the part and then decided if that was the problem. I will continue to go to Summers!

Have had three different makes worked on by these gents. Each time the cost came in at or below estimate. They offer many options to problems (told me it would be more logical to put a used tranny in my 85 Honda than think about a rebuild, then helped me find one!) Can't say enough good things about Summer's

I have taken both of my Nissan Maximas to Summers for almost ten years. They are excellent in all phases of operation, I just wish they were a little closer to the center of town. Several times they have either repaired my car for far less than I anticipated, or charged me nothing at all when they couldn't find anything wron with the car. They are also very flexible in that I do a lot of my own work, and like to buy a lot of my own parts. They always work with me in person or over the phone to diagnose and troubleshoot what is going on with my car. Unfortunately I have relocated recently, and can't take my car there on a regular basis, but they still help me diagnose over the phone. Great guys to do business with.

My Brother-in-law recommended them to me and I was very happy each time I went back. They could have taken me to the cleaners and I wouldn't have known. They fixed my Honda one time for free because it was a bad connection. Dennis, the owner, said "come back when you need something".

We have been going to them with our hondas, subarus, and toyotas for over 10 years. They will recommend waiting to do work if it isn't risky and can be done later with a scheduled tune-up. They are cost conscious and have gotten minimally used parts from a junkyard to save money for us. Their work is professional and well-done. I wish they had Saturday hours and a shuttle to downtown area.

Very nice people. Very good work done. Kindda costly such as the exhaust system changed and when compared to Meineke it was costlier by about $35. But, very good work and nice behavior.

I just moved from Charlottesville and am heartbroken that I can no longer use Summer's Auto. They have always treated me with respect and have explained all work that needed to be done clearly. I never had to return the car because I felt like they did something wrong, and the prices they quoted me were the prices I payed. They are wonderful men who were willing to listen and go the extra mile (pardon the pun) to make sure my car was running as it should.
