Another shop in town wanted to charge me $900+ to fix something relating to the 'check engine' light. I was so shocked, I drove away and took it to these guys. Within minutes, they had discovered a split hose right on top of the engine that was hissing, replaced it, and the car runs better than it has for years! And it cost way less than $900!

Another local mechanic heard a grinding noise, & told me I would need a new spindle and probably a new axle. My ears cringed all the way to Auto Repair Specialists, where they removed the rock that had become wedged behind the front disk brakes -- at a very minimal charge.

They agreed to use a part that we had purchase on our own from the dealer. Other mechanics wouldn't touch it because of warrenty problems. They also explained the problem in detail and showed us the defective parts.

They have done many state inspections for me and have never tried to sell me parts or services that are not needed.
