The service manager, Robby, is our go-to guy on all things about our car. We know he will give us the real scoop on what needs to be fixed now, what we ought to repair to avoid problems on the road, and what things we can safely watch & wait. His mechanics do an excellent job, and I always learn something new about my car in the process. They do offer customers rides home (if nearby) or to the Metro station. The service center is also on several bus routes in a largely residential neighborhood within walking distance of Ballston and 2 blocks from the W&OD bike path. When someone's kid backed a car into ours, I took it to Robby to see if it could be safely driven before repairs and to ask about a reputable repair shop. He sent us to an excellent one that has served us well on two occasions. (Unfortunately, parking in Washington, DC shopping centers is a hazard to auto body health!)

They do investigations without charging anything; if they don't find something, they say so, and don't try to sell some other service instead.
