I took my '88 Toyota Corolla to them a number of times and later my '94 Geo Prizm. They kept that old Toyota running for me--on one ocassion they kept working on it until it finally passed the emissions test. When I blew a head gasket on I-15, I had the car towed somewhere else to try to save a little money--big mistake. It ended up being a major hassle at the other place. I always regretted not taking it to Computune. In hindsight, I don't think I saved much money at all, and the guys at Computune would have done a much better job. It's hard to say anything is cheap when living on a student's budget, but Computune's prices are at least fair, they always call before starting a repair, and the work is done right. They fix what needs to be fixed, and won't "find" any extra things to repair if it's not necessary--I don't think I was upsold once. Besides all this, it never hurts to overhear the shop manager say he has to get home so he can go to ward temple night with his wife.
