I have walked out of places that talked down to me (as a woman). My entire extended family take our cars to Precision Auto. Once they were unable to fix the problem and charged us nothing for a days worth of labor. Once they fixed the wrong thing, and when we took the car back in, they fixed the right thing for free. They explain everything to me, although I am just pretending to understand as I nod along. They are respectful and honest. I would drive any distance to go there. Thanks for letting me spred the word this way.

We've been using Precision Automotive for several years and several vehicles- old and new They came highly recommended to us when we moved here, and we now in turn highly recommend them to everyone we know. They will even take the time to explain things to you to help you repair your own car. They take their time and explain things well, with men and women.

My 20-year-old Ford Ranger failed an emissions test. One shop said they doubted it would even qualify for a waiver since it was blowing smoke. Another didn't want to work on it. This is not the kind of problem that a lot of repair shops want to deal with. Craig and his people not only fixed the emissions problems, but the truck passed the test with flying colors. And the work was done quickly and for a very reasonable price. Precision Automotive does all types of repairs and maintenance. I carry a couple of their business cards to give to anyone looking for an excellent repair shop.

These folks are in business for the repeat customer, and Craig is an extremely knowledgeable, personable guy to work with. They'll work like crazy to get you in and out as quickly as they can. In my case, I went in pretty sure I had a bad Catalytic converter. A much greasier, much less forthright shop had quoted me $300 and an overnight stay to replace the cat, and I went in expecting to pay much more for the qualified mechanics and cheerful service here. Instead, I came out paying the same amount for the same work, but accomplished at Precision with only a few hours of waiting. And speaking of waiting, they're two blocks away from the 7200S TRAX station, so you can take your vehicle in in the morning, grab lunch downtown, and then pick it up in the afternoon. A perfectly painless process!
