Being somewhat new to the area I've been looking for an alternative to the local Toyota dealership for service on my 2004 Sienna. After not finding any independent shops that specialized in Toyota or Japanese cars in general I started asking around. I asked a few of the old-timers at the local high school where I work including the maintenance guys who maintain the bus fleet and the place on the top of everyone's list was Midway Automotive. So I brought my Sienna in for a complete servicing and to have a couple of nagging issues dealt with like squeaking belts and was shocked at how low the bill was. I paid probably 1/4 of what the same work would have cost at the local dealer. The shop itself is very non-descript from the outside and its easy to drive by without noticing. But they have all the latest equipment inside where it counts. And they do a very steady business with happy local customers. They are not open during the evenings or weekends because they don't want to work evenings and weekends. Which is fine. The fact that they do brisk business anyway tells you they have a loyal customer base.
