The A/C had stopped working on my 93 Aerostar when I lived in Lubbock Texas. The dealsership wanted TOO much money to fix it. I was reassigned to Randolph AFB about the same time , so I decided to wait until I moved to get it fixed. A friend recommended Charles Smith Radiator. They fixed my vehicle for $800 less then the dealer had wanted and the quality of the work was outstanding. I have since moved to the Austin area but still drive my vehicles to Universal City (if possible) to have Charlie Smith repair them! He will not charge you for something you don't need and uses high quality parts.

I am an "old" woman, living on a limited income so need to trust the guy who works on my little Honda ... these fellows have taken care of my '86 Civic Dx since the day I drove it home, brand new. Don't use the dealer because he is too expensive and they want to sell me a new one! Charlie will get aftermarket parts when appropriate, or use Honda parts when necessary and has a considerably lower labor cost. I have over 200,000 miles on her, and they are helping me get to 300,000. They have never steered me wrong on the maintenance program .. I don't think this is because I bake them chocolate chip cookies from time to time....
