I HIGHLY recommend Central Auto, Taylor, TX, especially to women. Their prices are always reasonable, work is done right (until CUSTOMER says it's right!). All personnel, from owner Mark Campbell to chief Genius Ben Quinn, to Genius Pomo, et al.,treat customers and vehicles with respect and kindness. Office Mgr. Suzanne sees to that! Repairs are explained fully, without making unknowledgeable customer feel s2pid. No hidden charges or bill-padding. Loaner Workhorse is a Cadillac Camino--gotta love it! Mark also sells Classic Cars, dba Classic Street. Yes, I trust Central Auto--and I can't remember the last time I trusted a mechanic!!

Highly recommended! Being a 20 year old girl with zilch knowledge in the field of auto repair, I need a shop I can trust. Upon arriving in Texas as an out-of-stater, I used them for an inspection and ended up chatting with the owner for 25-30 minutes. After getting my oil changed at Brake Specialists and receiving a $2500 estimate for near-future repair work, I took it to this shop and after having the owner look at it free of charge, he informed me that I only needed to have the coolant flushed ($80). The rest was a lie. This business has won awards from the city for customer service. They will be my go to guys during my stay in Texas.
